The Game Changers
Fueled By the Truth

(Audio:: English, no subtitles)
"The Game Changers" is about top athletes who have made a conscious decision to eat an exclusively vegan diet. With this step they act against the common opinion that the consumption of meat is crucial for the success of top athletes. James Wilks, who has already won the Ultimate Fighting Championchip, speaks for the programme with top athletes as well as nutrition and health experts on the subject.
The film cannot be considered a scientific study, so the results should be treated with caution. In "The Game Changers" a lot of things are said and presented in a certain way, hinted at and left in the room, which makes the viewer come to a conclusion: Vegan is healthier. At the same time much is not said, which could relativize the alleged facts.
The film was produced by James Cameron, founder and CEO of Verdiant Foods, a producer of pea protein.
"The Game Changers" makes only marginal mention of environmental facts.

The movie could have used a more thorough, gram-for-gram comparison of plant-based and animal proteins. No matter, there's much fine food for thought. – Los Angeles Times
If a few more guys start eating their greens as a result, this blunt but belief-fueled film will have done its job. – Variety
It deals a lot of in partial facts and incomplete facts. – FilmWeek (KPCC - NPR Los Angeles)
Some cherry picking, but overall, a compelling flood of arguments for a more plant-based diet for athletes and everybody else. – Movie Nation
