There Is No Planet B
The film “There Is No Planet B” is a good introduction to the problem of climate change. It shows the effects of global warming on the environment. Melting glaciers, floods, sea level rise, droughts, forest fires and many other circumstances are causing people to lose their homes.
The film also shows the problem of social inequality, because often it is the already disadvantaged people in the population who are more affected by the effects. In Seattle, various students have gathered to go on strike and demand that politicians take action. For example, they demand more investment in renewable energy.
