Films for the Earth Festival
The Films for the Earth Festival takes place once a year for two days in November. It is held simultaneously at 17 locations throughout Switzerland. In 10 years, the Films for the Earth Festival has established itself as one of the largest environmental film festivals in German-speaking Switzerland.
At the festival we will show nine impressive environmental documentaries that inform, amaze and inspire to take action. In addition to film screenings, visitors can expect workshops, exhibition stands from local organisations and discussions where they can take actively participate themselves. The programme is diverse and free of charge.
With the festival we want to create a space for encounters and exchange. It allows visitors to become aware of environmental issues and solutions, to networked with locals and to take action. We reach up to 17,000 visitors and pupilswith our festival.
Our next festival will take place in October and November 2024.
