The Vaquita is a small whale living in the gulf of Mexico. It is critically endangered, no more than 10 animals are left.
The radical hunt for Totoaba, a fish worth a lot of money on the Chinese market, further eradicates the remaining Vaquitas because they too get caught in the nets of the fishermen.
Mexico banned fishing in this particular area, but now the mafia steps in and a bitter fight between Sea Shepherd, the Mexican authorities and illegal fishermen erupts.
