Permaculture

The best films on permaculture, regenerative agriculture and urban agriculture.

Biodiversity is central to food production. It ensures stable ecosystems and thus secures food production for us in the long term. A multitude of organisms above and below ground support the flourishing of our crops. They also provide clean water, protect against soil erosion, pollinate plants and fight pests. However, intensive agriculture and the associated use of fertilisers and pesticides is taking a toll on this biodiversity and negatively impacting food production.

Permaculture and regenerative agriculture produce food according to nature’s model. In doing so, they preserve soil fertility, produce hardly any waste and increase biodiversity.

The films in this section show inspiring projects and new ways of farming in harmony with nature.
