All life on Earth is connected.
Our earth is breathtakingly beautiful and impresses with its incredible diversity: lush rainforests with a huge variety of species, fog-covered mountain forests, rugged mountains, barren deserts, the oceans with their mysterious creatures.
This beauty and diversity has evolved over millions of years. During this time, complex communities with innumerable interdependencies between different organisms have developed. These interdependencies are so complex that we hardly understand them to this day.
What we know is that the disappearance of one species can have profound consequences for other species, including us humans. So it is in all our interests to preserve the ecosystems of our planet, not just for the sake of their beauty.
